It looks like what I told everyone to do to follow this blog by email in my very first post is not working correctly.
I added internally everyone who had mentioned that they would like to follow me, so those certain people should now be receiving emails each time I post. (If you received this post by email, that means you are one of the ones I added internally.)
I guess the correct way to follow me (if I have not already added you) would be to click "follow" in the upper lefthand corner. Sorry for any confusion...I'm still trying to figure this out. :)
